Tamer Ismail has an extensive experience of more than 20 years in business field; sales, marketing, product management, channel business, SMB and consumer segments. He has proven to be a true leader in the retail business in Egypt as well as the UAE and Saudi Arabia. Tamer has been a part of BDL Group for more than a decade, which is a leading name in the ICT distribution and trading business in the Middle East region. He joined the organization as a Sales manager, but worked his way up in the career ladder, to merit multiple promotions until one day he was appointed the CEO of BDL Group in the Middle East.

Besides BDL Group, Tamer was also a co-founder and key player in the company Quantum Global. Quantum global was also a redistributor of tablets and other devices. During Tamer’s time as a Vice President in the company, he was a leading figure and brought great success in both revenue and the organization’s expansion.

About Us
A former CEO of BDL Group, a well-known Broadline IT Distribution Company. Ismail played an instrumental role in leading the company to reach a strong record of achievements.
During the joint venture with Quantum global, a mobile devices brand, Ismail invested 11 Million on the marketing campaign.
In return 73 Million was the profit as a harvest for the hard work. He then continued on leading the transformation of the sector, he participated in the revival journey of Acer form being in the 10th place to be on the 1st place with 43% marketshare for 19 quarters.
Additionally, the partnership with PC manufacturer DELL, with 10-year warranty, also produced a result which was a turning point for both sides, as Dell occupied the first place in KSA, and a lot of people came to know more about the case study of this tremendous success.
Ismail took the lead during the negotiations with 6 banks to convert short-term loans into long-term that exceeded 440 SR, with grace period from one year to a year and a half.
